1. Question: How to upload and add videos in Videos Gallery?

Answer: There are two ways to upload and add videos. Each one is describe by details below.

a. First, one is to upload videos from your computer. To start the upload process click on the Upload link from the main navigation tabs above the Videos Gallery. Select the option Upload a video from my computer from the select box and click on Continue to proceed. Enter all your video information into the boxes. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for people to find your video. Please complete all sections, if any information is missing you will be asked to complete that section. Select a video file from your local computer and upload it. Please note that only FLV video format can be uploaded and up to 4 MB file size only.(Suspended)

b. Last but not the least is to add videos from an external website. Supported websites are You Tube and Google Video only. To start the upload process click on the Upload link from the main navigation tabs above the Videos Gallery. Select the external website option from the list and click on Continue to proceed. Copy and paste the Video URL from the external website that contains the video you want to add. The Video URL on You Tube should look something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLvbfE58pJQ and in Google Video is something like this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3213449483968654266. Click on the "Add" button and the video details will automatically extracted from the external website. You should see a confirmation page which will confirm the details of the video. You can use this page to check your video, got the correct title, description and thumbnail image. If you wish to change any data or upload a new thumbnail you can use this page.

2. Question: I can't watch SopCast P2P Streaming, when I click a SopCast channel, nothing happens!? Please Help!

Answer: In order to watch SopCast you must to do the following things, Download And Install first the SopCast Plugin. For Internet Explorer browser, please download the plugin HERE and then install it directly. For Firefox browser, please click HERE for the info on how to install the Sopcast Firefox plugin. After installing the plugin, please refresh the SopCast webpage or just press the F5 key of your keyboard, now you will be able to watch the SopCast channel.

3. Question: Movie or stream does not play continuously during play? Why does the movie or stream stop playing every few seconds? it's so annoying!

Answer: Possible you have slow internet connection. Remember, for an optimal and enjoyable online viewing experience you must have an internet broadband connection and internet download speed of 384 kbps or higher and please close all the programs that may keep your bandwidth busy (examples: downloading, p2p, etc.)

4. Question: I can't see the video player, what do I do?

Answer: Please check that you are able to login because some media requires you to login before you can watch. If you still don't have an account, please register HERE.

For Windows users, in order to play our movies and stream here, you must install the latest Windows Media Player and the latest Adobe Flash Player version, because we're using it here. Please click HERE to install the latest Windows Media Player and click HERE to install the latest Adobe Flash Player. Hayag TV streaming uses Microsoft Silverlight so you must install it also. Please click HERE to install the Microsoft Silverlight.

If you are using Firefox browser, please download and install the Windows Media Player Firefox plugin HERE and then if you have a Windows Media Player issue, feel free to visit this SITE for some answers. For Linux users please install the mozilla-mplayer and w32codecs. For Mac users please install Flip4Mac (HERE).

5. Question: Is it Filipino Balikbayan TV legal?

Answer: Yes! We are legal because we do not host any copyrighted content in our server, but rather the content is hosted on third party websites like YouTube.com, Veoh.com, MegaVideo.com, Dailymotion.com, Livestream.com, Justin.tv or Youku.com. Filipino Balikbayan TV is not responsible for any contents linked or referred to from these pages and is not responsible for the accuracy, compliance, copyright, legality, decency, or any other aspect of the content of other linked sites since the links are submitted by the public. We are legal and conforms to Digital Millenium Copyright Act. We support/ adhere to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act of 1998(DMCA). 6. Question: Is this website completely free?

Answer: Yes! We do not require any fee for your membership in our site. The site is supported and paid for by sponsored ads however if you find our website helpful to you, you can donate a small amount of money to help us cover the cost of our bandwidth and server maintainance. 7. Question: I thought movie and shows downloading was free. Why am I being asked to pay?

Answer: Our movie and show downloading is being take care by our partner site, The Movies Capital. The downloading software in this site is completely free of charge. What you pay goes towards supporting their technical team and paying for the creation of more user guides. If you're unsatisfied, you can always cancel your membership and keep the software.

8. Question: There's no video playing and what is cacaoweb?

Answer: Some video requires cacaoweb running and make sure the status in its administration web page is running fine. To run cacaoweb, just double click the cacaoweb exe file. You can download cacaoweb HERE. Please download the correct cacaoweb file for your Operating System( Windows, Mac or Linux). For Windows, requires Windows XP or later and broadband internet connection is highly required. Please check also your Firewall and Antivirus setting is not blocking cacaoweb for a smooth video streaming. Cacaoweb is a free software to watch, share and host videos and files online with no limits. You can also watch videos from platforms like Megavideo or Videobb with no time limit.
